Research / art project about the obvious of green energy aiming toward a public space
The main goals of this project are to reveal the origin of energy and create attention to the relevance of the presence of windmills in our landscape.
How ‘simple’ is the origin of green energy? How visible is it?
Is there an understandable connection between the mill and our homes?
By an intervention like for example a large scale electric point attached to a windmill I attempt to reduce the distance between generating and using energy. By adding this simple object the connection between the two is instantly visibilty clear; simply energy. By emphasizing this subject I draw attention to the source of the energy used and taken for granted in many households.
This project could be carried out though an installation or large scale visualization in an existing or future windmill park.
